Global partnerships to tackle global challenges
In today’s corporate landscape, business activities can no longer be neatly divided by states or sectors.
Globalisation has been driven by the liberalisation of trade and the free movement of goods, services, labour, technology, knowledge and capital.
The GCU members are well positioned to address the research challenges arising from this landscape, drawing on our geographic locations and interdisciplinary expertise in business, economics, social sciences and law to bring a truly worldwide perspective.
Our work engages with critical issues such as environmental and climate change mitigation, multilateral trade relations, intellectual property and effective dispute settlement frameworks.
Central to this approach is the development of strong, democratic international institutions and partnerships across governmental and non-governmental organisations.
